On Sunday, December 17, 2023, the Cathedral of St. John the Divine welcomes Fr. John Chryssavgis, Executive Director of the Huffington Ecumenical Institute at HCHC to preach the Sunday morning Eucharist. Fr. Chryssavgis is the Archdeacon of the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew, and a widely published and highly regarded theologian.
The Huffington Ecumenical Institute at HCHC is named for its benefactor, the Honorable Michael Huffington, a member of the Greek Orthodox Church, a former trustee of the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine, and a major donor whose generosity has made possible the Community at the Crossing.
