The National Jewish-Christian Dialogue to be held at Hebrew College and Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology

On November 20-21, the National Jewish-Christian Dialogue was held at Hebrew College and Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, where it was hosted by the Huffington Ecumenical Institute. Co-sponsored by the National Council of Churches and the National Council of Synagogues, this dialogue has convened for decades, but with renewed vigor in recent years.  Dr. Antonios Kireopoulos, NCC Associate General Secretary and a co-convener of the dialogue, commented:  “We are grateful that the strong bond of friendship that has been built among the dialogue’s participants over the years allows us to frankly discuss critical issues, especially the painful and distressing issues that have been with us since October 7, 2023.  This is certainly a testament to the commitment we share in engaging faithfully with one another.”The dialogue included representatives from many Christian communions and Jewish organizations in the US, who assembled to study theological matters and address societal concerns here in the US and abroad.  On meeting at Hellenic College/Holy Cross, Dr. Kireopoulos added:  “We are grateful for the opportunity to continue our discussions while enjoying the hospitality of the Huffington Ecumenical Institute and the wider HCHC community.”
