This past Thursday, February 1, we were honored to have His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America presiding at the Blessing of the Waters service and for the traditional Vasilopita cutting, a cherished tradition symbolizing unity and blessings for the new year. The joyous occasion was held at the Maliotis Cultural Center of Hellenic College Holy Cross where students, families, faculty, and staff came together to share in this special moment.
His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros, among others, met with Fr. John Chryssavgis and Elena Kontogli, staff at the Huffington Ecumenical Institute at HCHC.
