We are honored to share the recording of an unforgettable evening with Bishop Themistocles, whose remarkable journey took him from 1960s Australian rock-and-roll fame and atheism to a life of deep faith and transformative missionary work in Sierra Leone. With humility, wisdom, and a heart for the marginalized, Bishop Themi shares powerful stories of service among the poor, bringing education, healthcare, and spiritual care to some of the world’s most vulnerable communities.

This liturgy was prayerfully designed to be fully accessible and inclusive, reflecting the deep truth that every person—regardless of ability—is a full and vital member of the Body of Christ. Dialogues with Patriarch Athenagoras

When it first appeared in 1969, this book unleashed shock waves throughout the ecumenical world, creating unprecedented openings in relations between the Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church, while provoking reactionary protests among conservatives, especially on Mt. Athos. The book contains a vibrant conversation between Ecumenical Patriarch Athenagoras and the prominent Orthodox historian and philosopher Olivier Clément. Translated by Jeremy Ingpen. Published by and available from Holy Cross Orthodox Press.

The Dialogue Between the Eastern Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox Churches

Edited by Christine Chaillot, this book contains key theological contributions by theologians on a schism dating to the fifth century over the Christological expression formulated by the Council of Chalcedon to describe the “two natures in one person” of Christ. In recent years, the unofficial conversations between the Eastern and Oriental Orthodox Churches commenced in 1964, while the official dialogue was established in 1985. Published by and available from Volos Academy for Theological Studies.

Book Cover Coexistence

Coexistence: Peace, Nature, Poverty, Terrorism, Values

Coexistence is the other side of the coin called dialogue. It is increasingly an essential component of human life on our planet, especially at a time of conflict and division but also of forced immigration and persecution. Its direct opposite is violence, corruption, poverty, and injustice, all of which we are witnessing across the globe but most recently in the invasion of Ukraine by Russia and the confrontation between Israel and Hamas. Written by Archbishop Anastasios of Albania, translated by John Chryssavgis, and published by the World Council of Churches.
